KERSTIN LINNARTZ - actress/model

Choclo would like to welcome German model/actress/presenter Kerstin Linnartz to the ambassador team. Aside from presenting NBC "GIGA“ for NBC Europe and countless sports and gameshows around the globe she has conducted 1000s of interviews with famous artists, politicians and stars in the sports and economy arena. Kerstin Linnartz is born at the border to the Netherlands. After school and a year as au-pair in the USA she workes as model to finance her acting training. It was her model agent who sent her to the first casting as anchorwoman in 1998. She is hired to present „NBC GIGA“ for NBC Europe and completes her apprenticeship as TV journalist with the news channel. The show receives the Grimme award for groundbreaking connection of TV and internet. Kerstin creates her first TV-concept, the channel produces the Late Night format „GIGA Heartbeat“ after her script „down to the studio decoration“

Presenting

In the past 12 years she presented several entertainment programmes in TV studios, hosted huge high class live events bilingually in front of international audiences, perambulates the globe for travelling shows, produced in european cities, african steppes, asian palaces or deserts in the USA. Her „nomadic life“ was put on hold when she got hired by SAT1 for the show „blitz!“ (one of the leading german entertainment shows at that time) and moved to Berlin in 2004. Until now she loves her adopted home here.

Yoga

After her excursion to the life of tabloids, Kerstin decides to take a break from hectic media life, attends drama school in Los Angeles and travels further to adress her second passion: in India she deepens her knowledge in Yoga. She falls in love with the country and has built her „second home“ there by now: she spends her winters in India where she teaches Yoga on a regular base.
