NUEVO FUTURO

The Asociation de Hogares Nuevo Futuro (new future), Peru is devoted to the creation, promotion, maintenance and general supervision of homes based on a family regime for able and disabled children and youths who are totally deprived of a family environment and without financial resources. To date, Nuevo Futuro has accommodated 409 children and adolescents. Of these, 252 were adopted and 56 returned to their biological families. Operating out of 4 homes in Lima, the organisation is also actively involved in the “Prevention of Child Abandonment Program” designed to educate teachers, parents and children in schools in poorer areas.

CREATIVITY - the graphics for the 2010 choclo project collection have been built up from elements of drawings by Alexis and Milena, from Nuevo Futuro. Above you will find the original drawing from Alexis who took inspiration from his homeland Peru and the choclo (corn) plant. This drawing became the graphic inspiration for the whole men’s collection.
